Seller authority
A seller must own the business or have documented authority to represent it, and must disclose material agency or beneficial-ownership relationships where required.
Required clarity
Listings should accurately describe the business model, geography, operating history, monetization, owner involvement, material customer or platform concentration, asking-price basis, included assets and known transfer constraints.
Financial presentation
Every metric must identify currency, measurement basis and period. Forecasts must be clearly labelled and assumptions disclosed. Gross revenue must not be presented as profit, and adjusted figures must explain adjustments.
Confidential and personal data
Public listings must exclude credentials, customer lists, private contracts, payment details and unnecessary personal data. Sensitive evidence belongs only in a permissioned workflow after appropriate confidentiality measures.
Moderation and status
Listings may move through draft, submission, review, publication, revision, rejection, pause and archive states. Moderation assesses platform policy and presentation; it is not diligence, valuation or endorsement.
Changes and removal
Sellers must keep material information current and promptly correct inaccuracies. MakoAngel may request substantiation, require edits, add warnings, pause visibility or remove a listing to protect users or comply with law.
